I think the comparison does a great disservice to Lebron James. At least he has finished a complete game. At this point, Obama is 4 minutes into the first quarter.....and North Korea is is just taking off the warm up pants.

LeBron? The argument rages as to whether he is even the best player in the game today. There is no such argument about Obama's preeminence, even among those who disagree with his policies.

If we must analogize politics to sports, i.e. larger than life players in a team sport, try Babe Ruth, Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky. In non-team sports how about Tiger Woods compared to the rest of the PGA?

LeBron James?

Frankie,

You may want to distribute this PDF to all liberals, not just those trying to hide their real feelings in an attempt to be elected.

http://www.trumanproject.org/files/training/civ...

Obama has made several good decisions (with the Supreme Court choice, now forcing the GOP to consider if it really wants to risk opposition merely for the sake of opposition), and is decisive. He's more decisive than Congress and it is he rather than Congress who is apparently in charge (even joining Cheney in putting the dippy left wing Democrats in their place over foreign policy and related pathological, even-psychotic Bush-and-Cheney-hatred). It's ironic and amusing to see the idiots who screamed (the way they do about Republicans consistently) about a power-hungry executive withhold such criticism of their beloved current President (while often also continuing the groupie-like cult worship and following of the man). A strong executive is great when he furthers your interests instead, isn't it? [chuckle]
