Yeah, that Larry Johnson has solid reporting…. he didn't talk to the people who had the tapes, he talked to people who were “friends of friends”….

As previously noted, Obama's opponents, regardless of political party, seem to have a theme going here, along the lines of, “There will be some Obama-precipitated event that will be harmful. Better not support him now because once this event happens you'll be sorry.”

Does that mean that his opponents realize their attacks on Obama's policies aren't working because the majority of people support Obama…. so they use some imagined future event which plays on the fears and uncertainties of people today?

A lot of other journalists were predicting that- altho the only one foolish enough to put it into print was Leopold. Isn't it possible that Rove pulled some strings in the Justice Dept- considering how corrupt it was during the Bush Admin under Alberto Gonzales? After all, at the time, Rove was thought to be the Great White Hope for the GOP's congressional campaign of 2006, and we know now that Gonzales was still doing Bush's bidding as AG.

Larry Johnson is a crazed liberal who became a favorite among leftist bloggers by claiming that Karl Rove was going to be indicted on the Valerie Plame matter within “24 business hours”.

Naturally, it never happened, but the buffoon never lost his democrat fan base.

Anyways, out of all the campaign flaps, I found this one a year ago TOO FUNNY and just plain unbelievable. In the digital age, this would have been out as soon as then Senator Obama announced he was running. I used to be a fan of Larry Johnson but he flew way off the rails during the campaign season. He morphed into a completely different man. Oh well…

Honestly, one of the reasons I won't run for public office (even though I felt some small yearnings) is because of my family. Two ex-Black Panthers as parents! A substantial amount of Nation of Islam members (headed by the “infamous” Louis Farrakhan) who have been vocal activists! And I'm down here in conservative country (Georgia). I would be raked, baked, and BBQ over the coals. And I'm just a regular guy whereas Michelle Obama is much more high profile. So that tape is and was nonsense. Where have you gone Larry??
