Here’s a simple question. You made this statement:

“CIA intelligence reports told the President that al-Qaeda was planning a major attack, probably by air.”

Hopefully, you read the PDB that contained the information you cited. Am I to take it that from that PDB your interpretation of what was conveyed to the President was that al-Qaeda was planning a major attack, probably by air?

Do you realize that by phrasing your comment this way you are giving readers the impression that the PDB hinted in some fashion that al-Qaeda was somehow going to use airplanes as a weapon of sorts against the U.S.?

As a professor of journalism, you must realize that this is either a product of mind too ignorant to understand what was written in the PDB or a blatant lie.

Which one is it?

He has a calm demeanor, one of a business man in pursuit of a goal. And this was his demeanor going in and coming out of the last administration. He is a man on a mission for sure and that mission includes creating paranoia in other people while he himself remains quite assured that all is going as planned.
