The writer has written a nice article but wonder if he has heard of Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi who are young,enthusiastic and spearheading the campaign for the Congress party. Advani is not the only guy in BJP Plenty of younger and more able leaders are present. With the help of the Indian panaroma all over the world and millions of smart,young Indians…there is a bright future for India.

Translation: the Brits still want to control India and India is "too weak" to run itself. Therefore pressure should be brought on India to allow Big Brother to keep an eye on its affairs.

It got its sovereignty and now the Brits want it back again. Using fear [which the above article is laced with] the "West" seeks to undermine the strength and confidence of India's duly-elected leaders..

That isn't democracy though. I thought we were about allowing countries to run themselves who are democratic. Do spindoctors forget that we know what democracy means?
