They think it is a form of "witnessing". But I see it as a sort of bragging about your supposed piety. I suppose that's what happens when you take a Yankee like myself and put him in the South. I agree. The President in a secular government should not make a spectacle of praying for the benefit of religion. Did anyone notice that the % of "nonreligious" young people went from 12% to 40% during the Bush years?
