		<description>Living in the Bible Belt, I&#039;m always amazed at how many devout evangelicals ignore Matthew 6:1-6.  They think it is a form of &quot;witnessing&quot;. But I see it as a sort of bragging about your supposed piety. I suppose that&#039;s what happens when you take a Yankee like myself and put him in the South.</description>

Did anyone notice that the % of &quot;nonreligious&quot; young people went from 12% to 40% during the Bush years? Interesting how religious rhetoric from the government turns many people off both to government and to religion.</description>
