Iran undertook its presidential election yesterday, resulting in extremely high turnout. The results? A run-off, the first ever in Iran’s history, is set for next Friday between former two-term president Hashemi Rafsanjani and ultra conservative Tehran mayor Mahmoud Ahmedinejad.
