I heard a tribute to Pete on NPR this morning and as I joined it in progress I thought it was a memorial and that Pete had passed. When, at the end of the segment, they said “Happy 90th Birthday Pete” I smiled in relief.

To often we wait until it's too late to show our appreciation… Thank you Shaun AND Happy Birthday Pete!

Now, thanks to SWARAAJ, I realize that Pete Seeger is more than just an 'American Hero'… His life has made a better place for all mankind.
