I just read the whole issue is caused by the traumatizing conditions of raising pigs, combined with the effort to protect the meat with antibiotics, that produce the hard to treat strains pigomania virus.

We do it to ourselves, over and over…………………..

I didn't see that one coming!
Here I was on a long distance call and (as I'm wont to do), I logged on to check email while listening to my friend on the phone and then I thought I'd drop by here to see if anything new had been posted … My poor friend!
I think she's lost her hearing in that one ear cuz I laughed so hard when I saw “The Secret Life of Pigs.”
She kept saying, “GHOST! GHOST! WHAT? WHAT did I say that's so damn funny??”
I finally gave her the url to the cartoon and now I'm deaf in one ear too (cuz SHE laughed so hard).

BTW, my friend is a much older person and has very bad eyesight and she saw it just fine.

PS ok ok in truth she didn't say “Ghost” …she calls me Wolf cuz she met me when was I working up in Canada at a Wolf Refuge (long story) ..so it actually was “WOLF! WOLF..etc” ..
