Light(er) Blogging Today

This is something of a weird day for TMV. He leaves at 9 a.m. San Diego time to head up to L.A. for a show, then heads back down the coast at 1 p.m. Due to traffic it could mean being stuck in the car most of the day.

We will try to post a post or two in the afternoon…so keep checking back. If traffic is awful it may be difficult to get back until early evening (there is another show around 7).

Three things:

• Our co-bloggers may post today, although several of them may be out of pocket due to the weekend and travels.
• As you may know, on weekends for more than a year TMV has been permanent guest blogger on Dean’s World. For most of the time that mean just leaving a referring link to that popular blog, and not doing any original posts on this site on weekends at all. That was until about a month ago when looking at weekend visitors it was decided we do some limited weekend posting of new posts plus links to all of longer posts on Dean’s World. The reason: the refering link was not acceptable to some readers and hits went way down on weekends (way below the decline most blogs experience on weekends). Once we started posting new weekend material, visitors returned and weekends were more stable in terms of hits.
• This will be TMV’s last day as Guest Blogger on Dean’s World so we will be on a full 7 day a week schedule starting Monday. More on this and other changes tomorrow.
