In the war on financial collapse, each and every one of us should have a portion of our yards, decks, rooftops and patios reserved for growing food.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Perhaps the water fees in arid regions now going to ornamental plantings, would be discounted to those who dedicate a substantial portion of their lots instead to vegetable gardens?</description>
