Rahm's heart is with the Democratic party first, but I agree he deserves time to see how he performs before making any judgments.

I think the implied message is the danger he'll turn into a Rove/Cheney type of influence.

Are we supposed to hate him now? Not sure what this article is getting at.

I've got a radical idea: let's see how he performs in office and judge him harshly if he makes radical mistakes in his latest occupation.

We had Dubya in office for eight years when it was clear he was grifting and dangerous. At least Rahm's heart seems like it's in the right place: with the people.
