All this circus about $165 million in bonuses??? Didn't we just see a bill with $7.7 billion in earmarks get signed by the President into law? And now there is outrage over $165 million in bonuses to honor contracts made before the crisis ever happened? Bonuses that were protected by an ammendment inserted by Chris Dodd at the pressuring from Larry Summers and Tim Geitner, appointed member of the Obama Whitehouse team? Bonuses like those that are to be paid out by Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae? Bonuses with AIG bailout money that pale in comparison to the $57 Billion of bailout money that went to paying foreign banks (about 58% of these funds) ?

Looks to me like folks are focusing too much on this politically manipulated outrage machine. The only outrage here should be what business do these people have in criticizing the very bonuses they authorized and protected, and why they are so caught up on the amount of $165 million when they have been such poor stewards of the taypayer dollars with mismanagement in the billions by ther own acts.
