So, I'm just wondering, other then throwing a sop to left wingers, what this will accomplish? If ESC research was so darned great, private research would be all over it, like they are with adult, placental, and other stem cell research. Instead, it is pretty much researchers who rely on federal handouts who want to do ESC research, mostly because private industry realizes that there is not much profit in creating cures and medicines from ESCs because they tend to cause terratoma's, otherwise known as monster tumors. The other stem cell research has created treatments, medicines, and cures, and has been for decades.
