Was this not what the Democrats have been doing to Bush for the last 5 years?

We did not hope for failure, we knew it was going to happen, after Shrub's entire career has been one of failing upward and letting his daddy clean up his messes.

The only we didn't know was how big the failure was going to be and how long it would take the general public to realize that they had put Alfred E Newman in the White House.

So realistically, Rush is the spiritual head of the Republican Party and most Republicans agree with Rush, net result is that Republicans are actively hoping that Obama and our government's stated policies fail. I do agree with him that most are just too chicken to admit it.
