"They are essentially “Zombie Politicians.” Their ideas are been completely discredited by the facts of our economy"

Well I understand better what you mean by Zombies now and actually agree with a lot of what you say. The problem with your logic though is that fiscal conservatism has not been discredited. The GOP essentially threw fiscal conservatives out of the party with their excessive spending, and things went to hell. If anything the failure of the GOP reflects partially the danger in disregarding fiscal responsibility.

What Democrats are doing now is using the failure of the GOP to justify excessive spending, when excessive spending was part of the reason the GOP failed. As I've said in previous posts I understand the need for the stimulus bill, hell I even understand the rationale for increasing taxes although I have mixed feelings there. What is happening with the budget bill is the Democrats are using the crisis as an opportunity to add programs and increase spending on things that have little to do with the current crisis. The Democrats are now charging in to throw gasoline on the fire the GOP started.

You have several hundred million shares of stock of these banks you seem to want to dissolve with the wave of a hand.

Millions invested in 401ks. Many Union pension funds invested in them as well. To reestablish value what are we going to do? Send them a check to fix what ails them too? Up to about 2 trillion dollars in FDIC backed money sitting in these many banks that the Federal government has to back.

This current financial problem is the classic reason why the far left idea of government does not work. Its why many of the nations in Europe are essentially bankrupt with no means to bleed anymore out of the shriveled up tax payer turnip.

Fear mongers. Its as simple as that. Fear monger the mainstream public into a massive spending plan that by the time the dust has settled might add another 10 trillion to our debt all the while screaming its all good.......debt doesnt matter when its the Democrats in charge. it only has consequences when the GOP is in charge.

Mr. Pascal in your consulting business do you advise your clients to spend themselves into bankruptcy?
