PJM was seldom on my radar as a reader, unless I found a link to some silly thing or another being made fun of by competing blogs on the left.. However, John Cole's “Balloon Juice” blog, a PJM member, has long been at or near the top of my daily reading list. Cole says his site will go on, with or without PJM's revenue. I hope so.

For that matter, I find no happiness in anyone, even those I might strongly disagree with politically, losing any portion of their income due to the bad economy. There are families to feed, mortgages to pay. Well, maybe Coulter. Or Hannity. Or Limbaugh. Or the Savage-Weiner. They could probably muddle through.

I would have felt more sorry for PJ Media's plight if they hadn't become a self-parody in hiring Joe the Plumber to go to Israel. It was that point that I realized PJ Media was unserious as an alternative voice.

Barak Obama said during his campaign and in other places that these are tough times and that Americans need to make some tough choices.

There have been many times in Americas history where the unemployment is 10 percent. Most notably in 1982 during Reagan. Inflation was runnaway. During Carter.

Ronald Reagan cut taxes and begged people to save. Incidently savings means you put money into a bank or savings institution which in effect allows a bank to have more money to LEND, which is what they do. The more money they have to lend the lower their fees and interest rates and the more likely it is that all of Americans can have more money in their pockets.

So America has some hard choices to make. We simply do not have enough money to fix this economy with government handouts. So what to do. What to do.

1. price freezes are put into effect.
2. Business taxes are cut by 5 percent.
3. Prices are rolled back by 5 percent within 3 months of the price freeze.
4. The us government will suspend the payroll tax for 1 year.

This alone will put 1 trillion dollars into the economy without the government spending ungodly amounts of money to stimulate the economy.
