Joe Windish, thanks for this. I wish the best for Mr. J, it's been a heck of a treat watching him invent and manage all these years, along with all his massively talented team. I sense he has a malabsorbtion disorder, amongst others, that may have come from having had killer drugs during his bout with pancreatic cancer. That cancer, they say (Patrick Swayze currently has a version of pancreatic cancer also) is deadly and quick. Weeks. Months. Steve has been doing remarkably well for years.

But huge amounts of radiation or poison chemicals to the system can cause other things to slowly go awry, like protein absorption, then the person wastes. I ever pray for miracles, for him. For all of us. Always.

dr.e

Leadership is important, but just as important is having the people capable of coming up with ideas like the ipod, iphone, Time Machine, etc.

Steve Jobs didn't invent those products, he just had the vision to see them to the market without tons of compromises and feature bloat.
