Most of Reagans writing seems to feed the divide, and feed ON the divide between people of differing idealogies, or at least people who imagine their ideologies differ a lot. In that sense his "career" is a good example of parasitism, and as with much parasitism the welfare of the host (which would be all of us) is waaayyyyyy down on the list.

Me three. This viewpoint is extreme and thoroughly uninformed. Honestly, Mike, how come you are saying that the inspections didn't work when we couldn't find any WMDs in our most recent Iraqi adventure? That sounds like something that worked to me. I understand tolerance for opposing viewpoints, but this is ridiculous.

bobmunck - I agree with your observation completely.

The whole direction and feel of TMV has changed over the last few months and, as it's so in your face and obvious it must have been an conscious, intentional change in direction.

Mike’s column is distributed exclusively by: Cagle Cartoons, Inc.

Now that's either very telling or very funny... I can't decide.

I don't understand why this post, or this author, is given any space here. He doesn't actually SAY anything; he's just picking random events from history and working the term "smart power" into the sentence somehow.

Shouldn't guest columns be checked for content before being posted? Not for any particular type of content, but rather just to see if it has any at all.
