I call B.S. on this one . "Foreign policy" is the most exclusive prerogative of the president? That's the reason Obama is staying silent about Gaza?

Funny, that didn't stop him from sending Joe Biden (no longer a Senator) to Afghanistan for talks with the Karzai government. that seems like foreign policy to me.

Obama is staying silent - at this point, shamefully so, because he is going lock-step with past policy regarding Hamas. Engagement is not part of the plan.

Eventually, he'll shift his tune vis-a-vis Iran, and go back to "containment" and isolation with them. He's already said it may take a while to close Guantanamo (and will likely send the prisoners to Baghram - in a similar situation, different country).

Obama is looking less and less presidential and more and more typically partisan. At some point, his free ride is going to end and he will be exposed for being beholden to special interests - just like GW, Clinton, and every other president in the last 30 years.

www.internationalpoliticalwill.com

Smart man that Obama...

Tie that colt to a young sapling with a "be nice" halter on it, stand back, sip some iced tea and in a short while that colt will have struggled himself into submission.

Starve the matter for recognition until they defeat themselves.

That goes for the press too. Let Fox news rile their ever-shrining "base" while other outlets focus on real issues like the economy and how universal health care is going to pan out?

Besides, Israel and Palestine are always at each other's throats...not like we havent' seen this before, like a thousand times.. *yawn*...
