I don't hold it against Obama for hiring Clinton appointees. Clinton had personal flaws, but tended to hire smart, competent people for his administration.

Right now, the country's prosperous and largely peaceful state during the 90's looks pretty darn good to me.

Oh boo hoo! You'll have to get used to the idea of having the influence of the name that turned our nation's economy into the black and created 22 million new jobs.

Oh, the horror!

Given the history of recent presidential politics there is no other source for experienced staff for Republicans outside of people who worked in the Bush (43) administration.

Thanks for reminding me why not to vote repug.

If you wanted change, you should have elected Kucinich the only real Democrat running.

in 2008 the choices were simple:

A) a real Democrat Kucinich
B) some DLC Democrat ( Clinton, Obama, Biden, Richardson )
C) another Bush Republican ( McCain, Romney )
D) a theocrat ( Huckabee )
E) a Libertarian Ron Paul.

The media did it's job of insuring that only an ideologically acceptable could win, it destroyed Paul, Kucinich and Huckabee.

Over the past five weeks, Obama has put together a team that is very close to being termed as “Clinton-lite”

Maybe you meant to say Obama has hired people with experience?

The tendency of so-called conservatives to blame everything on Clinton seems to have obscured a very important fact, which is that Clinton hasn't been president since January of 2001.

Maybe you missed the last eight years?

If you did, long story short: some problems developed over that time-period.

Experience might be helpful in providing the change we need.

Experience--it used to be a value conservatives respected.
