		<description>If the telecom monopolists (yes, there&#039;s only one cable company in my neighborhood. how about yours?) can&#039;t make money on flat rate broadband, let the government do it. We gave Comcast et al the exclusive and they promised to deliver. Now they want to limit us to their offerings or pay more and they balk at delivering the level of broadband enjoyed by such megapowers as Korea and India.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This is exactly the same situation as the utility battles in the early 20th century. The utilities didn&#039;t want to serve rural customers because they said it was not profitable.
