I agree that Coleman has the right to ensure that the election result is accurate, as long as it is done in an expeditious manner. However I've also read that the Republicans could conceivably tie this up in court for months… If the recount is done and the Sec. of State of MN is ready to certify the results, then let the results be certified and be done with it. To continue to block the seating of whoever wins, and after all this scrutiny of the ballots, is just being partisan and does no good.
I agree with StockBoySF mostly. If Coleman and the Republicans are serious and are willing to expedite their challenges, all well and good. But I'm getting the impression that they just want to tie things up for months on end in order to keep one less Democrat in the Senate for as long as possible. That shouldn't be tolerated and if that is what is being opposed there is no hypocrisy.
