I am told that HCM did not perform today, but that his mouthpiece–whoever he or she was–pretty much stuck to reaction # 4 for Limbaugh, perhaps with the exception of playing the parody.

Tell me something PWT: Why do you think Mr. Saltsman included that parody (and Star Spanglished banner, etc.) in his CD sent to his RNC cohorts? To make the Republican party more inclusive? To mend fences with minorities? To attract more minorities to the Republican "BIG tent?" To honor our next President? To celebrate the fact that we have the first African-American president?

Have you even listened to the song or read the article that prompted it? If you have, try one more time.

This song is not meant to insult blacks in general or Mr. Obama in particular. It is meant to be insulting to white liberals – Rush's main target of derision – it appears to have been very effective in that regard.
