Here is a simple way for Barack Obama to ameliorate criticism from my more impetuous friends:
Invite openly-gay Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson to give a blessing as well.

I think it's a bad idea, because when the wicked Sodomite comes into contact with a true holy man like Rick Warren the earth will open wide and Gene Robinson will be dragged shrieking into the yawning mouth of Hell.
What if it's Rick Warren who is dragged into Hell?
