Like other culture warriors, his legacy is mostly one of division and superstition. It doesn't require a genius to see how much harm that M.O. has done to our country. Hopefully people like Gingrich are on a steady and gradual road to extinction, as they are relics of a dark past - a past that depended far too much on ignorance and bigotry in order to thrive. We can no longer afford those outdated motives if we are going to be a country worth our salt in the 21st century. I've always thought Gingrich had disturbing ideas.
