Transparent, neurotic, hypocritical losers.

The remark itself is not sexist at all.

But the clucking hens on the Left are playing their usual game. That is, their transparently political as well as neurotic and hypocritical game. Were Napolitano black, the remark would be claimed to be racist, too, no doubt. This, by the same people making all kinds of cruel remarks about current Secretary of State Condolezza Rice (also in her fifties), about her spinsterhood, subjecting her as well as other black Republicans to the ugly racist U-T, H-N treatment, and even questioning openly Rice's sexual preference (because it's PC to attack her in every way conceivable, as she's not a liberal or Democrat). This, by the same people who worship the worthless vapid Maureen Dowd.

Transparent, neurotic, hypocritical losers.
