The jihadist assumption is that all Jews are Israeli and are complicit in the appropriation of Arab land. <br><br>All of this is why we cannot allow Pakistan to sit idly by and let every stripe of jihadist fester inside its borders. Pakistan needs help to ferret out Lashkar, Jaish Mohammed and the genuine article Al Qaeda leaders in the mountains. The political risks of cracking down too hard are great. One can hope that this incident, which has already convinced the ISI chief to visit India, will encourage both Pakistan and India to jointly crack down on religious extremists (including Hindu terrorists).
