With the exception of the Kos-wing of the Democrats, I can't imagine who else would object to this move. Another factor to remember is it is already being portrayed as a year to 18 month appointment, which would mesh with the stated goals on Iraq.

All in all, another good, and politically astute, move by Obama. It is still early, but I must admit to being impressed by his initial actions, statements and appointments.

"[T]he savior of neoconservatism"? Are you charging that Sarah Palin is a neoconservative, and if so, in what way(s)? If she isn't, how would she be their "savior"? And in any event, haven't we had about enough of politicians being thought of in such terms?

Time had a poll up on who should win. I voted for Tina Fey, myself.
