Dear Rudy, thanks for your news. I do know that the cpu and programmer skills of people from many other countries are sharp... all the offshore shuffling of sensitive and delicate code work et al, seems to say so. I think Rudi, I have always wondered what the waterworks and outfits lesser than the Pentagon, were thinking when they went to all computer management of flow, containment, et al, let alone the power companies. Maybe I'm just being a luddite, but I notice some kids cant do basic math in their heads or on paper. THey use calculators. Hmmmm. I suppose in sci-fi, this would mark the evolutionary loss of both arms in humans of the future?

Your point is well taken, you just wonder sometimes who is watching the watchers at the Pentagon? Are they really watching? How would we know? The oversight of the government in every direction seems perilously close to death. Just .5 M for Two (2) spa retreats for AIG since 'bailout.' Who is watching?

Chernobyl comes to mind. Lots of watchers. No one watching. Til the wolf was upon them.

I hope it will not be the same about this matter.

dr.e

I doubt that this is from from drives, standard security s/w will check these drives when plugged in a USB port. Recent news is that Chinese and Russian hackers are prowling the Internet, I hope this breach isn't from this crowd. If the Pentagons network isn't safe what is to be expected from FCS?
