772driver : Pleeeeeeeze, wake up and smell the wornout, often cloned, and faux-outraged defense rhetoric of Palin. More than anything else, it's just getting sad. If she is the best the GOP is able to come up with in 2012, then I absolutely guarantee you, the democrats will be ecstatic! I wish her all the best in Alaska... where I think she is more likely to be (big fish, small pond) happy.

Back to the "underpinnings" story. First we have too LITTLE information with regard to Palin. Now we have too MUCH. ;-) Go figure...

Yes, there is plenty of news to comment on, but sometimes a little comic relief is called for

Why so much continued coverage of Palin? No 'real' news to comment on?

As a minority and a registered member of the Republican Party, I am appalled at the attacks and trashing of Governor Palin by the same coward gray hair Republican male, who has attempt to used us minorities and women as hookers and slaves every election.

The lady was brought down from Alaska to do job for the GOP which in my opinion did very well considering her lack of experience on the national political stage. She did do a colossal job in rallying our political party’s base when Senator McCain’s campaign was dead in the water.

Since the beginning of attacks by the so called anonymous cowards, against the governor, not one single person from the party’s leadership, to include RNC Chairman, Senator John McCain, President of the United States, or the so-called conservatives TV and Radio talk show hosts, who has permissible hijack the Republican party for the sloe purpose of peddling their racist and hateful agenda, has step forward to apologize or thank Governor Palin for her efforts.

Which leads me and other Republican minorities to assume, if Governor Palin who is a white American female can be treated that way by her own party, how will this same party treat Blacks, Latinos, and other minorities in the future?

Governor Plain many thanks for a job well done!! Please keep in mind you don’t have run as a Republican to be elected President of the United States. Let’s all re-registered as independents and take back our country in 2012.

It is pretty clear that she is just another self centered, reality challenged corrupt Alaskan politician. I am very impressed with her ability to tell flat out lies with a smile and a wink. They ought to send Marriot auditors to her house to get back all of the shampoos, lotions and towels she most likely fleeced when staying at various hotels - the guy who said Wasilla hillbillies has them down.

"My only question now is, why was Sarah Palin buying these for the First Dude?" My impression is that she also got the RNC to buy clothes for her children. But to answer your question.... She thought she could get away with it. After all she did charge the taxpayers to stay in her own home. This is her view (one of them) of how power should be used, for her own personal benefit.
