		<description>I supported Dean for the DNC chair back in 2005 because I believed in his vision of expanding the Democratic electorate beyond the same old states that did nothing beyond guaranteeing Ds solid 46% losses.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;And, though some may argue, I think he very much laid the path for Obama both in that context as well as in his vision for using new media.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Who now to lead the DNC?  David Plouffe perhaps?</description>

He was a 9 year Democratic governor of Vermont, and is one of the constant whipping boys of conservative talk radio.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Dean is leaving in order to run for the Senate if Patrick Leahey retires, as expected, in 2010.  I will work for his election.</description>
