Used to have a scottie. Notice how Barney's ears were back and his tale down and stiff. He clearly was not in a good mood and probably a bit stressed with the attention. Then Mr. Reporter goes in fast with his palm facing down. Scottie's will snap in that situation.
The best part was after he snapped his ears perked up and his tale started wagging. He seemed to be in a much better mood after that. ;)
