President Barack Obama - Let the healing begin.

Finally I'd like to extend congratulations to my moderate, centrist, libertarian, and conservative blogging brethren who embraced Obama's rhetoric of change and hope. You got it! I, for one, welcome our new Democratic Party Overlords.

I've posted many times in support of McCain-Palin. Now, it's time to say congratulations to our President-elect, Sen. Barack Obama. I've prayed for every president, and he will be no exception.

Good question, indeed. I remember Bush' 2004 victory speech as relatively conciliatory and unifying, and then the next week happened where he declared his victory as amassing political capital and he was now going to ramrod his ideas through. Obama could follow the same route. A great place to start in truly attempting to govern for all would be in the Cabinet appointments. Can he find not just 1 (Gates) but 2 or 3 Republicans for the Cabinet?
