The Times They Are A’Changing

Well, except in Arizona and Hawaii they are. Most of us set our clocks back an hour on Sunday morning. Am I the only one who is totally out of sync from that this year? For some reason it really seemed to sneak up on me. I was falling asleep on the couch at the corrected time of 8:30 pm last night, which threw off my already slightly shifted schedule. That always makes me less able to sleep, so I was up again in the middle of the night. And, of course my Basset Hound doesn’t give a tinker’s damn about Daylight Savings Time and gets me up, demanding a walk around the block, based on his own internal timepiece.

This morning I’m nodding off in front of my laptop. Anyone else running into this, or am I just getting too far over the hill? (Get off my lawn you damned kids!)

I couldn't agree with you more Jazz. My cat let me know it was time to get up around 3:30 this morning. I'm not sure how long it will take him to get adjusted to the time change, but if he keeps this up he will find his bed in the hallway.

Yawn! I hate waking up in the mornings.... I'm gonna use the time change as an excuse for everything. :)

I'm with you guys too, Mother Nature called this morning so I had to get up then made the mistake of going to back to sleep. Now I've been "drag'in a##" all day.

I wish they'd get rid of time change

I used to work on scheduling software. The daylight savings switch was the bane of our existence.

    Here's to standard time, year-round.
