It is very-low-IQ (at best, cheap-POS-media sensationalism at its intellectually lightest, which is awfully light), to substitute "impact" for "affect" (the noun) or "effect" (the verb). As I said one day long ago in a letter to a newspaper, to quote the start of the title of the heading when it was printed: "Please Use Correct English ..." Not everybody here is a typical Dim voter or play-pen leftist blogger type.
By the way, regarding a stupidity elsewhere, "reveal" is a verb, not a noun. It has never been a noun, at least not legitimately and in respectable company. [scowl]
