Completely “dismissing” the multitude of bad associations and poor judgments that Obama has show.
His inexperience, weakness and inability to make a decision.
Now we find out about his aunt living in a Boston slum, 3 court cases involving his birth certificate – and the Old stories: Rev GD AmerKKKa Wright, Bill Ayres, Louis Farrakhan, Father Fleuger, Tony Rezko, illegal capmpaign contributions, ACORN silencing the press and investigating private citizens by hacking into state computers. There is NO END to the clouds that
hang above this man's head.
And yet, the media persists in anointed “The Missiah.”
I hope the print media loses all their paid subscriptions and the networks lose their ad base as well.

The truth about obama, all this I say is on internet:
He knew Bill Ayers well, he lied.
He would not wear the flag pin showing support after 911
he was Barry all his life until visiting muslim countries and became Barack, what brought out his muslim background wanting to be Barack?
He stated the big tragedy of the civil rights movement was that there was no redistribution of wealth to minorities.
Took the American flag off of his plane and won't put hand over heart for pledge of allegiance.
He is very close to Reverend Wright for many years and knew of the reverend's anti American and racists rants and lied about knowing what he has said. As long as he was with Wright, it is obvious he had no problems with Wright's views.
There is so much more to see America if you investigate.

The author is obviously not very familiar with the United States. I reject the idea that America is a “white nation”. I reject the notion that African-Americans are “slightly newer” than white settlers. By that logic, Native Americans are more important than any other citizen.

The author doesn't know Colin Powell's background, either. He is not descended from American plantation slaves. His family is from the Caribbean.

Obama doesn't claim to be American because of his white mother and grandparents. That's ridiculous. Obama is an American because he was born on American soil. Period.

If Obama is a target for assassination, it won't be only because of his skin color, but because he's a threat to the system of entrenched privilege.

I appreciate the effort that foreigners are putting in trying to understand what is going on in this election, but it seems that this author has never even set foot in the U.S.

Clearly race is a factor in this race and denying that is simple naivete. But I suspect most folks in the middle are weighing experience (or lack of it) and youth against the demands of the highest office in some of the most trying times of our generation. Obama has provide a reassuring persona in that regard, but the nervousness will likely still be there for many voters right up to election day. I doubt that Obama's maternal lineage will ultimately be the tipping point for these voters – they've processed the race piece of the puzzle already and are frankly more worried about their homes and their jobs.
