Don't you mean how many middle class and upper middle class whites wil get their news from the Daily Show and the Colbert Report. Since those shows have about the same appeal as the Seinfeld Show, it is same to assume that they get few if any black or Hispanic viewers.

Comedy Central has always used ethnic niche marketing with shows Chocolate News or the Mind of Mencia.

When I ever hear someone say that college students are getting their news from John Stewart, I ask if they really believe that the Omegas at Florida A&M are really watchingJon Stewart. If they do not know who the Omegas at Florida A&M are, it tells me a lot about the person.

I heard a McCain campaign advisor yesterday on NPR quoting Joe the Plumber's economic policy. They're making fun of Obama for calling Warren Buffett, but quoting Joe. It's becoming surreal.
