That statement "a vote for Obama is a vote for the death of Israel" is the bottom line of a thought process. Maybe the conclusion is too stark and oversimplified, but it goes like this. Iran is building nukes and their leader says they are out to destroy Israel. In Israel itself where they are getting ready after their election to take out those nukes, McCain gets 70 per cent support easy because they know he'll have their back. If Obama wins, he opens direct talks, and during that time Israel won't be able to attack. They'll jerk him around for years just like they've jerked around the Europeans. (Yesterday if you saw the story a senior Israeli government official said Sarkozy in private called Obama clueless in everything touching Iran.) By then they'll have the nukes, launch them, and even though Israel will strike back from its subs, millions of Jews will be evaporated.

I don't buy the notion that Obama has let up of late. He's having a 30-minute infomercial tomorrow. HIs closing argument was very tough on McCain. And he's attacking McCain like crazy over his health care plan.

The reason Obama let up in the primary was that he was starting the general campaign.
