The World Wants Obama

The entire world wants Barack Obama. If he were to stand for President of Earth, he’d be voted in by 75% to 99% in favor from Chile to Papua New Guinea and Iceland to South Korea.

Web developer Seth Carnes and a few friends have set up an interesting web site called “THEWORLDFOR.COM: Help select the new President” where non-Americans (and Americans) can vote to choose between the Obama and John McCain tickets. Overall, people around the world are 89% in favor of Obama compared with 11% for McCain at this time.

The site allows you to vote and also rate the importance of eight issues, including energy, economy, civil liberties and terrorism. It also offers an opinion poll about how non-American voters view the United States ranging from “Very bad” to “Very good”.

So far, the sample is tiny, but there’s hope. Here’s the URL: http://www.theworldfor.com/. Have fun!

The World wants Obama because by and large the world wants America to retain her values, her freedoms and prosperity that benefit all the nations that trade in the free world. There really isn't a huge evil plot of villains out to screw us over. More like if any animosity is held our way it is for the current tyrants in power and their buddies. Nobody likes rich bullies invading their sovereign territory...or hemisphere or neighbor to rake goodies out of the ground or off the land.

The world knows that Obama is in fact conservative...conservative to old-type American values that want to have a respectable and respectful nation of free-thinkers who produce top-notch products and where the Dream is acheiveable by everyone, not just the super-rich.
