At the last minute huh? You wouldn't happen to be talking about this possible GOP link to the Donald Young murder eh? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjPuVJwWg-Q

Perfect way to win. Kill someone linked by phone calls to Obama. Keep the story under wraps until the formidable Hillary is neatly out of the way, and then release the story in the last week of the general election, before Obama has a chance to answer or recover his innocence.

I hope those responsible in the GOP for this pure evil trick of human vice rot in hell for eternity. Assuming of course that is what happened. If I was Bill O'Reilly right about now, I'd be squirming in my knickers about a conspiracy charge. Again, assuming my hunches are right.

They aren't always right, but we'll see what the GOP pulls in the next week or so.

Shaun, I don't think McCain will win but here's a hypothetical for you: What happens if he does? What happens if the polls are wrong, the 'undecideds' decide against Obama at the last minute, or "The Bradley Effect" comes into play? As I said, I don't see it happening, but do you think Obama has a back-up concession speech ready, or McCain has a victory speech in hand, just in case? Perhaps my hypothetical is nothing more than a mental exercise, but I still have to wonder.

I'm pretty much still in shock over this whole GOP implosion and fall from grace for McCain. The worst part is that if this heap doesn't implode onto itself (and from all accounts it's gearing up to get really nasty after Nov. 4) the Republican Party will not hit bottom for some time. How long? I sure hope well before the Starbursts 2012 campaign convenes.

As much as I abhor a two-party system, a one-party system certainly scares the bejeebus out of me.
