Come on, DLS- How is being bitter a good excuse for what the right wing has been pulling? How can the head of the GOP in Sacramento urge people to waterboard Obama and get away with it? The right wing is inciting violence- pure and simple. If Obama does win– they'll be there to make sure the country is never united.

I think this mostly demonstrates how gullible a lot of conservative/ right-wing bloggers are these days. The API interview was *obviously* a hoax to anyone with half a brain and a functioning BS detector. Yet a lot of the usual suspects fell for it.

I keep hoping that the blogosphere will get smarter as time passes and people realize that something isn't true just because it's on the Internet. But it appears that's not always the case. In particular, when your side is projected to lose the election, a lot of people take leave of their senses and embrace *anything* that validates their feelings about themselves, their candidate, or the opposition.

Somehow I doubt these things will work in this climate. They are sheer acts of desperation and everybody sees through it. Those who don't are lost to the GOP for good.
