I think he should be bold and fearless addressing knowledgeably the underlying issues of the economic backslide. <br><br>Other than that he should just fend off McCain's angry outbursts (maybe even elicit a few of them? lol..) and encourage McCain to look as evil as he possibly can. Each time Obama is tempted to engage with new McCain evil (for he will be invited many time during the debate to get off the issue of the economy and onto tabloidism), he should dismiss McCain with a wave of his hand and accuse him flatly of wanting to evade discussion of the economy. He should even say, "you're afraid to discuss the economy" without allowing McCain to retort.<br><br>That will sink in deep in the viewer's mind.
