If Focus on the Family is so determined to return to the 19th century, maybe they should also discard all the modern conveniences that make thier lives so much easier in the 2st. This cherry-picking that takes place among some religious groups when it comes to advances in science, whether it's biology, climatology, geology, chemistry, etc. really points out the hypocrisy and inconsistency of groups like FOTF. This observation may seem unconnected from the subject of banning books, but it's all part of the same disingenuous and conflicted mindset.
