Simpson was acquitted 13 years ago. The majority black barber shop cheered (as the media showed across the country). I never forgot what my barber said:<br><br><strong>Guilty or not. White folks just got stung!</strong><br><br>I really didn't watch the "Trial of the Century" and didn't react much. All I was thinking at the time was that O.J. was a marked man and "they" will lock him up one day. Will here we are. O.J. Simpson is guilty of being a common, brutish thug and there are no massive cheers and no massive jeers. I really didn't watch the “Trial of the Century” and didn't react much. All I was thinking at the time was that O.J. was a marked man and “they” will lock him up one day. Will here we are. O.J. Simpson is guilty of being a common, brutish thug and there are no massive cheers and no massive jeers. Just a verdict and sentencing (and the Goldmans and Browns collective sigh of relief).
