Jazz, your friend Morrissey has completely lost his mind this election season. Maybe it's the company he keeps at Hot Air.

"I suggest you depart TMV for Townhall or Red State so I don't have to sift through your junk to get to meaningful posts I value here"

chasinfremont - Your comment is not only uncalled for but over the line. Moderate Voice has numerous voices across a wide spectrum of the political landscape. That's what makes it a worthwhile Blog. There are far too many "me too" blogs for you to read rather than worry about MV's bloggers.

Jazz Shaw, you're lost in the wilderness. As David Gergen mentioned last night on CNN, Joe Biden gave the debate performance of his life. He clearly won. He answered the moderator's questions and he looked presidential. Why not just say you detest Joe Biden? I remember your hysterical post about your conviction Biden deliberately used Trig Palin's Down's Syndrome as a political snipe supporting stem cell research, LAME. I suggest you depart TMV for Townhall or Red State so I don't have to sift through your junk to get to meaningful posts I value here.

Palin defined the kind of person who would vote for her during the Couric interview: “People without education don't tend to think so much, so it's easier for them to support me…..“

I think the debate was relatively inconsequential except for three things concerning Palin.

1. Her chilling and surficial de facto dismissal of Biden's emotional moment with regards to his deceased wife and daughter.

2. Her announcing that she wants to bring more power to the Veep position, which is reminiscent of Dubya's screwing with the foundation of our checks and balances and our Constitution.

3. Her most lingering gaff: announcing that she will be scarce to see in the media. Just like Cheney...

These three gaffs were at first glance seemingly innocent enough. But as the debate sinks into my bones at least, they begin to loom much larger..
