I hope the House kills this junk bill as it killed the earlier junk bill. The losers will shriek and then shout hatred at the House, but they've been the best thing in DC lately.

So why are things so different in the Senate than in the House, he asks out loud? My guess would be that having to run statewide allows for fewer niche candidates, while a small house district does. Is that it? Or is it that there was a 700 point stock drop in between the two votes? Or the stupid earmarks hidden in there?

I'm also kinda expecting Future President Obama, but in several weeks, anything could happen, and the phrase “conventional wisdom” was not meant as a compliment. I read it in my RSS reader, and it said President Obama and VP Biden (I accidentally said McCain above, oops, wouldn't that be interesting), so I guess my RSS didn't retrieve the changed version.

Actually it was Future President Obama and Future VP Biden, which is what I expect to happen.
