Actually, I found Palin's '2nd grade' comment kinda funny. It was just a small like jibe, a little joke, nothing more - the tv commentators are over-analyzing everything.

Anyway - last night I went over to a decidedly-non-political website, Flickr, a photo sharing site, and entered the word 'Palin' to see what comes up.

It's actually quite interesting to see what pops up. Some of the photos are thoroughly expected, such as the photoshopped Palin-head-on-a-star-spangled-bikini-with-gun, or lots of campaign photos. There's also plenty of anti-Palin stuff, as well as Alaska protest march shots, and photoshopped mashups.

My favorite Palin photos I ran across on Flickr include a Picture of Palin in college, 1980's hair, stupid-slogan t-shirt and valley-girl smile (now I know where all those gag-me-with-a-spoon types from high school ended up), and a photo comparing Palin to South Park mayor Mrs. Broflovski (never made the connection before myself).

Interesting to browse through all the different photos, to get a sense of the feelings about her from a website that is largely divorced from hardcore politics.
