Sarah Palin Channels Kirk Watson

Remember during the Democratic Primary campaign the uncomfortable TV moment when Chris Matthews asked Texas State Senator Kirk Watson of Austin to name a single legislative accomplishment of Barack Obama’s? And he got stuck?

Looks like Sarah Palin did the same thing today when asked to name a single Wall Street reform measure beyond the proposed Freddie/Fannie law 2 years ago. He’s been there 26 years and Palin could not cite a single answer. Watch how she responds to Katie Couric:

Kirk Watson was never heard from again on Obama’s behalf.

Is this why McCain wants to shelve the VP debate?

elrod, who was Joe "gaffe-a-day" Biden channeling when he said that FDR was great on TV right after the stock market crash in '29?

That's dumber than anything Quayle ever said, or Gore when he claimed to have invented the internet.

Biden is as clueless as Obama is without a single achievement in his short Senate tenure. Palin beats them both on executive experience.

    Dave,
I agreed with Patrick that Biden's FDR gaffe was idiotic. It was a double gaffe - there were no TVs and FDR wasn't President until 1933.

But at least Biden can make a case for Obama. Palin can't make a case for anything.

Yeah, Joe Biden is a regular gaffe machine. He's said some pretty cringeworthy stuff in the past.

The big difference, however, is that with Biden, you know that it's only a *gaffe* - a minor mistake. Just because he misspeaks at times does nothing to detract from his decades-worth lifetime of service, experience and expertise.

Not so with Sarah Palin, when she misspeaks it's not just a little gaffe, it's because she's just plain ignorant. About five cans shy of a six-pack.

(By the way, Gore never claimed to have invented the internet; only the nuttiest of the right-wing hacks (the same type of person that likes to keep saying Obama is a Muslim) continue to perpetuate that myth)

Ha ha ha. Biden did make a good case that Obama's ad ridiculing McCain for not being able to use a computer was idiotic.....the clueless Obama & his Axelrodders didn't know it was that his war wounds from being tortured [by leftists] leave him unable to use a keyboard.

But Jake Tapper over at ABC has a running tab on JB's major booboos, and had 13 before the ridiculous FDR snafu. If Palin had done one as goofy as his FDR quote, she would have had the biased corrupt MSM howling like a wolfpack.

    mihi

First, Biden misspeaks just about every day and in the Senate he is regarded somewhat as an amiable dunce even by fellow Dems [my wife was an LA for Sarbanes for several years & recounts how Joe was regarded as the nicest second-rater in the Senate by his own caucus].

Actually, Sarah Palin knows more about gas, oil, and energy issues than probably any member of the Dem caucus. Just look at her interview with Bartilomo on CNBC and get a quick education on a lot of energy issues Dems just can't [or don't want to] understand.

    Ooooh, mihi

Parentheses inside parentheses....you must be a victim of academicide.
