Biden may stick his foot in his mouth when he opens it, but at least he doesn't need to hide from the press.

They need to earn the public's and Palin's and McCain's trust before Palin or anyone else can be (honestly, at least) claimed to “owe” the media any time or trouble.

Palin and McCain have certainly squandered any respect they used to have in the media. Which must have been tough since McCain was such a media darling for 8 years.

But this isn't about McCain/Palin vs. the Media. It's about McCain/Palin vs. the American people. What are they hiding? Why are they hiding it? The McCain campaign has shown nothing but contempt for the intelligence of the American voter with their repeated lies and lack of access. Why should we vote for people that are a) dishonest and b) hiding from the public?
