I mean, the comment threads here jump alive when the "juicy" stories are posted. Right after Palin came out of the chute, quite a few posts here generated upwards of 60 comments--and I'm not even sure issues were even being discussed.<br><br>Anyway, I think the reason McCain is doing this is probably a combination of 2 and 3. McCain's been ticked at the Times ever since the "Betray Us" MoveOn ad and after they reported about his supposed affair. But then again, not many Repubs like the Times, so he was just going after an easy target. He's bringing out Ayers simply because his supporters are demanding it.
