		<description>I bet if you would have tagged this with &quot;Sara Palin&quot; or &quot;Scandals&quot; the thread would be much much longer.  I mean, the comment threads here jump alive when the &quot;juicy&quot; stories are posted.  Right after Palin came out of the chute, quite a few posts here generated upwards of 60 comments--and I&#039;m not even sure issues were even being discussed.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Anyway, I think the reason McCain is doing this is probably a combination of 2 and 3.  McCain&#039;s been ticked at the Times ever since the &quot;Betray Us&quot; MoveOn ad and after they reported about his supposed affair.  But then again, not many Repubs like the Times, so he was just going after an easy target.  He&#039;s bringing out Ayers simply because his supporters are demanding it.
